Rosencrantz e Guildenstern
Rosencrantz e Guildenstern nascono dalla città di Rot
che è la città teatro delle avventure e gesta di Zakk Void. Mentre stavamo sviluppando il mondo e la storia di quest’ultimo, ho pensato che sarebbero stati veramente due ottimi personaggi per raccontare un fantasy urbano. Allora ho cominciato a delineare i personaggi e i loro caratteri: defernente e aristocratico il primo, strafottente, spiccio e maleducato il secondo. Ma l’uno non può esistere senza l’altro. Trafugano cadaveri e parti meccaniche per conto di una non meglio identificata “Madre”, che li usa poi per costruire esseri viventi.
Prendono il nome dall’Amleto, chiaramente, anche se avevo più in mente il film di Stoppard.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are born from the city of Rot
which is the city theater of adventures and exploits of Zakk Void. While we were developing the world and the history of the latter, I thought it would be really two great characters to tell an urban fantasy. Then I began to outline the characters and their characters: the first polite and aristocratic than arrogant, rude and offhand the second. But one can not exist without the other. They steal corpses and mechanical parts on behalf of an unidentified “Mother”, who then use them to build living things.
They take their name from Hamlet, of course, even though I had more in mind the Stoppard film.
